Leo's Cafe @ The Store, Sri Petaling

Yesterday was indeed a busy day for me. Reason being I need to accompany my sister to meet her 2 friends cum business partners. The first one is to do with unit trust stuff and decided to meet up at her house. Hence not much to talk about.

The second one is to do with direct sales stuff. We met up at the mentioned Leo's Cafe. Since both of them were busy on discussion, I made an extra order for a french toast on top of hot chocolate as supper lo.

Hot chocolate is great as is really full with chocolate taste. Satisfied with it!!

But the french toast really a big shock for me.

This is what I got. It was totally not within my expectation. I was expecting something like KimGarry. This french toast is made of pandan coated with eggs. Oh My God!!! Its kinda creative but it really looked so funny. Once I tasted it, I really regret for my life. I swear that I won't order French Toast at Leo's Cafe anymore. And in the coming few weeks or even few months, I'm not gonna eat french toast anymore.... Phobia on it!!

A series of things that I have to do annually

Previously at the end of July, I only have to remind myself to do 2 things. This year there is a bit different. I have to do a series of 3 process together.

Firstly, I swiped my credit card and renewed my motor insurance policy which caused me RM846.44 poorer but at the same time, I got 846 point for my credit card. At least better that then nothing. I did this on July 16, 2008 this year.

Secondly, I renewed my road tax. As usual, it costs me RM72.00. I did it on July 22, 2008 which is 4 days earlier than the expiration of my previous road tax.

Finally... which is the most important point, I got the RM625.00 rebate already. I did it on July 26, 2008 which means even before my new road tax takes effect. So, now I can tell you guys, once we've renewed our road tax, we can straight away collect the rebate from post office. No need to wait until our new road tax takes effect. Sometimes, our beloved government also quite efficient le!!

My 'baby' is back again

OOhhhh... My baby is back again. Checked the car after that. Everything is Ok on the same day. But a bit disappointed on the following day. The problem came back again. I know sometimes my skin is quite thick but if I sent it back to the workshop again, this would be my fourth complaint on the same issue. Feels 'paiseh' already le!! So I think I won't go back to the workshop again lo.

Disappointed tea break again!!

Every Wednesday there would be a tea break session in my Company at 3.00pm whereby the Company would prepare some bread, pastry or cakes for the staffs. Kinda nice arrangement. I have been based in client's place for months until I almost forget about this 'once a week tea break culture' in my office.

3.00pm sharp.... again I heard my colleagues yelled out ' time for cheese cake, get your share from the pantry'. Wow..... I really didn't expect that my tea break of hot milo with cheese cake, yummy yummy!! I quickly stepped into pantry and this is what I got for my tea break session..................>>>

Obviously ..... is a 'cheap cake' instead of 'Cheese cake'. I'm so disappointed. I'm disappointed with the cakes served. I think there might be something wrong with my ears or else I might be very missing cheese cake....

I hate to do this thing!!

Audit department is assigned with a new mission again. This time, our Customer Service Manager namely Sherine, on behalf of Managing Partner of Cheng & Co., Mr. H.H.Chua asked us to distribute a survey form of 'Intellectual Capital Study of SMEs in Malaysia' to our valued clients for them to fill up.

I felt not comfortable with such arrangement. Reason being all this while I'm input or brain-washed by my Company that we are not allowed to waste a single minutes. Every single working second should be a productive one. In short, wasting is strictly not allowed.

However, I'm now abit confusing whereby currently I'm instructed to distribute a survey form with 13 pages length to the clients. Seems completely contradict with my company's motion!! I'm trying to figure out the best way of persuading the clients to 'spend' times on this survey.

However, a little mug with Cheng & Co. logo will be given to a group of 3 people who completed the survey form..... Can you imagine, 3 people sharing a small mug, what's the point??? Another drawback when I need to carry this little cute mug to client's place. Once broken, who is liable? Really hate to do all these stuff !!!!!!!!!

Really can't believe in this inflation era, we still manage to find such cheap chocolate. Planned to try them out 1 day as frankly speaking, I really never try them before. So not much comment on it taste now>>>>>

I must survive!!

Breathlessssss..... too much job in office. Stacks of accounts waiting to be finalised, tonnes of document to be reviewed, arrays of consolidated financial statements to be constructed, lots of cases yet to be started auditing, thousands of confirmation letters to be prepared....... stressful and stressful and stressful!!

I've been working super hard in office today... non-stop doing my job for more than 8 hours marathon. Tiring!! But still lots of files on my desks, Help!! My eyes are soooo tired and my shoulders are soooo sore. I need a good massage for it. I need OSIM, Ogawa, Gintel... anything!! I think I too old to work harder again!!

Another 2 weeks.... another 2 weeks everything will be fine. I must survive!!

My 'baby' is sent to 'hospital' again

Sent my car back to the service centre yesterday. I'm facing the same problem again. According to the service consultant, they had actually checked my car with sort of computerised machine and adjusted everything properly. Since I'm still facing the same problem, as mentioned in my previous blog, they suggested I left my car there a bit longer this time which might take longer than 1 week.

I've no choice but to agree on them coz I know there's something wrong with my car. According to them, they need to run a thorough checking on my car, from head to tail and from A to Z. Again, I'm gonna miss my car like crazy for more than a week. Hopefully they manage to fix everything this time.

Drama Series Weekend

Had been crazily watching the HK drama series, Forensic Heroes 2 (法證先鋒II). Such a great show especially for those who love detective typed of series. Be frank, I thoroughly enjoyed the series very much. Averagely I'll watch 5 episodes per day. Altogether I've watched 5 days of 25 episodes and there is still another 5 episodes to go.... Wish to finish it faster!!! Really can't wait anymore!!

Welcome back, my baby!!

My baby, Myvy is back. Mom just drove it back from the service centre this afternoon. According to the mechanic in charged, he had adjusted 'something' in the car... I'm not sure what's that. Henca my car should be OK now. But I think I can't comment much at this moment as I haven't really test drive it yet. Anyway, hopefully everything is in order lo.

Tesco @ Taman Midah

Has been conducting audit work at Kampung Cheras Baru for days. So seems like we are a bit bored with the food at the restaurant nearby. Decided to go to Tesco of Taman Midah for lunch. We had our lunch at the food court there.

No big crowd during the lunch hour. I guess is partly due to this Tesco is situated at residential area. I headed to the chicken rice stall. A variety of choice available here. BBQ chicken, sweet sour chicken, hot and spicy chicken etc. I opted for sweet sour chicken rice which cost me RM4.70. To my surprise, the portion is really really very small... is more or less the size for kids. I think not really worth it lo. Increasing price plus reducing the serving portion simultaneously... such an unfair deal.

Station Kopitiam @ Endah Parade

After the high intensity work out session at Myfitness yesterday, my sister and I decided to have our dinner in Endah Parade. One of her friend was travelling here all over from Seremban to pay a visit to my sister. So we decided to have our dinner together in Endah Parade.

Be frank, there is no fantastic food or restaurant or cafe to be recommended here. Somemore I got a bit bored with the fast food restaurant since few days back.

Initially we planned to go Uncle John but my sister refused as she claimed that the weather is too hot for her to have dinner at a place without air cond. That's fine. We changed our destination. We headed to Mam's Corner then she claimed that she already get bored with mamak's food. OK. We changed our destination again. We stepped into Station Kopitiam.

Although it was Saturday Night, but I cannot see any crowd here.Only 2 to three tables are occupied. Immediately I managed to draw a conclusion on the quality of the food by looking into this kind of environment.

Anyway, our main purpose is not dinner but chatting session. Less people serves a nice place for chatting lo. Her friend, Candy ordered rice and drinks but she gave an unfavourable comment on it. Hahaha.... My sister and myself ordered some drinks, bread and french fries..... Finally, my sister pay the bill. Wahhhh..... so nice. Its quite a long time since her last treat to me le!!!

What happened to my baby?

Ohh... What happened to my baby, my 2 years old Myvi?? It is not feeling well since few weeks back already. Symptom of the sickness is unable to restart the engine within approximately 5 minutes once I stop the engine after long driving hours. I have to wait for at least half an hour to restart the engine. Really not sure what happened to it.

Sent my baby to the Perodua Service Centre at Desa Run Razak for routine service of 15,000km on Friday, 2 days back. At the same time, I lodged the complaint to them. After some discussion with the service consultant, Ms Jazetina, I decided to leave my baby there for the mechanic to have a detailed check and test drive for it. Coz according to them, they failed to sort out the actual problem for my car.

Since my baby still under warranty period, I think is better to let them running a full inspection on it. Let the doctor cures it before its warranty period end lo. Yesterday, I again received a call from them and according to them they still unable to sort the problem out yet and I was told that I only can collect my car on next week. Hopefully they managed to sort the problem out earlier as I already started to miss my baby......

Chinese Pizza @ Roti Kaki

Yes, it is Chinese Pizza, not Italian Pizza. I just tried it this afternoon at Roti Kaki of Kg Cheras Baru. I went to this place lots of times but never try this out before. Decided to give it a try today with my colleague, Foong Ee.

Our comment on it...... Ermm..... nothing so special about it lo. The concept is the mixture of toast and waffle. Ya ya, I remember, something special about it...... it is quite crispy compared to toast or waffle. There are 4 flavours for choosing or we may have all 4 together..... strawberry, pineapple, kaya and peanut. We opted for kaya and peanut. Cost RM2.90 per piece but the portion is too small for us. We still felt hungry after finish the mentioned pizza. I think the portion is suitable for breakfast or supper but definitely not lunch... or may be is for kid and not for adult? I'm not sure about it!!

They said my chinese name is so easy to read!!

Every time I show or tell people about my Chinese name, definitely their first reaction is that..... 'Ohh, your Chinese name is so easy to read!!'

Today another person told me the same thing again . She even mentioned that she only knows some very very basic Chinese words and surprisingly, she can pronoun my name correctly. So, again it's proven that my name is really easy to read then.

Thanks for my mom for it. She made my life easier as I don't really have to tell or teach people how to pronoun it. Everybody knows it and can remember it very well too. I love my Chinese name very very much.。。。 林心美。。。easy, right?

Body Combat and Body Jam launching!!

Joined launching of body combat 36 on Monday and body jam 45 just now. Really really luv the body jam very much. But so sad that this would be Simone's last body jam class here. I always luv her class very much !! Took some photo during the launch session. Will post it up once I received them.

After the launching, we are given some door gift. Is Health & Beauty Magazine and Equal Sugar.

Lunch @ Grandeur Restaurant, Pandan Lake Club

Went to conduct a stock take procedure for the mentioned restaurant which is situated at Pandan Lake Club, today.

I personally don't enjoy the stock take for a restaurant coz I always feel that the working environment in the kitchen are busy and messy. Need to be super careful walking on the oily, icy and wet floor. Have to be hyper alert coz everybody is walking in and out, left and right, up and down in the kitchen area.... Making sure that I am not blocking anyone. Luckily we still manage to complete everything efficiently on time.

The client so kind enough as they treat us dim sum lunch at this restaurant. This is the first time I stepped into this restaurant, not to mention having lunch here. So the person in charge ordered everything for us.

Be frank, I'm a bit disappointed with the food here. No other reason for such disappointment. Just merely can't feel any surprise here. Nothing is outstanding or special out there. No point of attraction to blog about at all. The best that I can think of is the environment there... is so peace coz no big crowd there. Hahaha!!
