My life without gym...

This is the 24th days ever since I quit Myfitness. I really miss my gym life. I just just empty and unomfortable without work out session. I miss Body Combat, I miss Body Jam......
I planned to joined Fitness First initially. But somehow feel that the price that they charged is crazily sky high. After due negotiation, they offered me a lower and reasonable price which is right within my budget. But I wonder why that particular membership consultant can offer lower than usual. Is it jst merely because they want a higher sales and just let go some commission or there is another story behind it... I really don't know. Yes, the Myfitness issue really change my mind alot. I just not satisfied with a ceiling high pricing but feel uncomfortable with a lower than usual pricing.
That's the reason why I didn't turn up to Menara Summit to accept the so-called 'crazy offer'. Am I thinking too much?? What should I do??

Cost of Living

Every state in all over Malaysia have different cost of living. I had my lunch at Seremban last Friday during my course of audit there. Seems that Seremban has a lower cost of living compared with Kuala Lumpur.

My colleague and I had our lunch at Pasar Besar Seremban. There is a food court within the building, packed with little stalls selling variety choices of food. I opted for rice noodles. Yeah... rice noodles is always my all-time favorite.. Hehe!!

Guess what?? The bowl of rice noodles only costs me RM3.00. Wahh.... really kinda cheap leh. Now it is not easy to look for a place to have lunch for RM4.00, not to mention RM3.00. Different state, different cost of living ....... How I wish I still can enjoy my lunch at RM3.00 in KL again..... I hate inflation!!! Inflation make all prices shoot up except.... share price :(

Lunch at Star Village @ Kuchai Lama

This is not the first time I have my lunch here. My last experience implied that there was room for improvement for this restaurant. Anyway, we decided to give it another try today. Since it was the lunch hour, I decided to order their set lunch, RM7.90++ which comes with main course, drink and ice-cream.

I ordered sweet sour fillet rice, hot lemon tea and chocolate ice-cream. Really satisfied with the set lunch this rice. The portion is presentably big enough and quality of the food is rated above average. Thumbs up!!

Some games to kill the waiting time..........

The set lunch....

My first experience at Jogoya

Yes, I admit that i'm way outdated to have my first experience at Jogoya. Anyway, I'm not a big fan of buffet all this while. Reason being when I was into buffet, friends or family or relative for sure keep demotivating me by saying that it is a waste of money for me to have buffet... yes, I can't eat much and I'm kinda choosy in food.

This time, since my younger sister has two 'buy 1 get 1 free' meal voucher coupon, we have a family lunch at Jogoya last Saturday. Situated at Relish Floor of Starhill, Jogoya really serves a great environment for lunch. Upon reaching the place, we paid our bill before the meal. The bill goes to RM293 for 5 pax after discount. I think the pricing is still reasonable after all.

Well, let's talk about the food. There are really quite wide choices of food served from local style, western delight, chinese cuisine, japanese food etc..... From 11.15am, I started my lunch non-stop until 1.40pm, which is the last call for the buffet lunch session. Wah... can you imagine, I've been non-stop eating for more than 2 hours.

My favourite would be Haagen-Daz ice-cream, It is sooooo yummylicious... Really miss it very very much. I tried all 12 flavours....... love them very very much. Another must try item there would be their small small and cute cute coconut. Drink it, is so sweet and fresh. You'll sure notice that almost every table would have at least one. Heard the cheesed oyster is good also but I personally don't enjoy eating oyster all this while. So, no comment about it. But my dad super love it... Hehehe!!

For the whole 2 and a half hour, we were so busy on eating and eating and eating. So, only manage to have a simple photograph session before we leave the place. I was really a wonderful experience with my family there...... Jogoya, I'll be back again in near future!!

QingMing

It was QingMing Festival last Saturday. In order to escape the horrible traffic jam, my family decided to go for this Tomb Sweeping Activities on Sunday. But out of our expectation, the traffic still terribly jammed.

We started our journey at 7.00am. We have to go to 2 graveyard for QingMing every year. One for my grandpa at the KwongTung Cemetery of Cheras and one for my grandma at the KwongTung Cemetery of Sungai Besi.

We reached Cheras KTC around 8.30am. Every since the maintenance work is taken over by Wah Mei Landscape Deco & Build, it really ease our tomb sweeping job. Before we reach there, the person in-charged already clean up the tomb area. We don't have to involve in cleaning and gardening work anymore. We just need to pay RM30.00 per year as the maintenance fee. So, here what we did was just to give all the offerings that we prepared for the simple praying session. The whole procedure only took us around 45 minutes.

After that, we straight away proceeding to KTC at Sungai Besi and again we were trapped in the traffic jam as expected. Luckily the traffic is slow but still moving. Managed to reach our destination at around 11.00pm. To our disappointment, although we are paying RM30/- to the same organisation in-charged, Wah Mei Landscape Deco & Build, but we were shocked by what we saw. Bushes, rubbish and water are all around. We didn't bring any tool for the gardening and cleaning purposes. So, before we paid the fee for current year, we pushed them to clean up the tomb area for us since they are the one who did not do their part. Luckily, they are so good enough to listen to our complaint and took immediate action to rectify the situation. Thank God!! Everything is settled on the spot and in time.

Reached home at around 1.00pm. This year is considered quite early to finish the QingMing praying. Few years back before the maintenance of tomb is set to be compulsory, we always utilise whole day and all our energy solely for this QingMing Festival. Now.. is unbelievable fast!! hehe.....

Run... Run... Run...

29/3/2009 marked a funny day for me. My parents went to Sepang for one day trip with my aunties by coach. Early in the morning, they parked the car at Brickfields, right in front of my auntie's house and happily went on the trip.
Around 3.00pm, my cousin suddenly called my elder sister and informed us that DBKL was there to repair the road and all the vehicle need to be removed by 15 minutes. Else the vehicle would be on tow. We decided to go to Brickfields and remove the car with the spare key. But my sister suddenly thought of my parents love to lock the car with a steering lock.... Oh My God!! We don't have the spare key for that. After calling my parents and confirmed that the car is properly locked with the steering lock, we searched for our whole house from up to down, left to right..... and found 4-5 sets of different steering lock key. Old people really love collecting things!! So, I took all 5 keys and wished that one of it can unlocked the steering lock.
After few minutes Fast and Furious session on the highway, we finally reached the destination. The road was blocked for the repair. My sister dropped me at the shop area. This is the time for me to show my capability of running and speed... Luckily I workout quite frequent and manage to run to the destination without any delay, but the feeling of this type of running really pressured.
Upon reaching my car, everybody were staring at me... Thank God that it's still there in safe. My next mission is to unlock the steering lock. Bingo!! I got it right at the third trial and successfully removed the car and DBKL fella manage to start their work. The feeling of keep trying the steering lock key is not a fun one. I somehow felt that myself was involved in a competition of trying to win a car by choosing the right key, trial and error. Hahaha....
Hopefully... no next time!! Not enjoying it at all!!
