Chilli Padi Restaurant.. Promotion after renovation !!

I got to know from a client that Chilli Padi is offering a 50% discount on all food and drinks as promotion after renovation for 3 days which is 28th, 29th and 30th September. As the place is really near my office, we decided to have our lunch there on the later 2 days to enjoy this special promotion.
To my surprise, big crowd was there to queue for seat. For both of the days, we waited for at least half an hour for the table and another half an hour for the food to be served. Due the crowd, the operation of the cafe is kinda messy. Wrong order, omission, wrong bills.... everything is possible.

For the first day, I ordered a fish and chips set at a nett price of RM5.90. Worth it!! My colleague ordered a seafood fried rice and juice. She had the food and drinks. Upon payment, the cashier at the front counter argued that we didn't order any drinks and insisted that we only need to pay for the food. Fine!! We just treat the drinks as a free gift then.

For the second day, I ordered a chicken chop set at a nett price of RM5.90. Worth it!! Worth it!! My colleague ordered the same with a iced chocolate blend. Upon serving, the waiter handed us 2 sets of chicken chop and 2 iced chocolate blend. She insisted that these are our order. As a result, I tried the iced chocolate blend in the cold cafe..... cool!! Upon payment, again the weird cashier argued that we only ordered one iced chocolate blend and again she insisted to collect the money for one iced chocolate blend only. I was the one to get the 'free gift' this round.

A 50% promotion plus some major and minor error around, I estimated that the cafe might make a loss in these 3 days... hehe!! Now I realise why the big crowd were willing to wait.... it's for the 50% discount plus free gift...hahaha!!
Fish and Chips Set
Chicken chop set
Last but not least... the 'free gift'!!

Q3 Les Mills Launch at Fitness First

This was my first time to experience the Launch of the Les Mills Group Exercise at Fitness First. It was a 1-week event which held quarterly but I opted to join 3 days of weekends classes at IOI Mall on 27th September, Menara Summit on 3rd October and Menara MBF on 4th October. Such an enjoyable experience. Got to know lots of instructors and members during the event.

For the 3 days, I joined Body Step, Body Attack and Body Jam. I'm so love the new Body Jam Release. Really Fantastic and to date I've did it for almost 10 times but I still like it very very much! Body Step and Body Attack are fun but killing.... haha. No doubt, these classes are good in building up stamina to my maximum.

Food and beverages are served for members. Some free stuff were there for grabbed as well. I got a little bear and a wristband from the event. Such a happening day. We, the 3 sisters enjoyed ourselves very very much!!

After the Body Jam Class at IOI Mall.. with the sifu-s: Jason, Leonora, Zarina and Shirlyn!! We Rock!!

After the Body Step Class at Menara MBF with the sifu-s : Teoh and Roland !! Up! Up! Up!

After the Body Jam Class at Menara MBF with the sifu-s: Ken and Cheryl!! Go! Go! Go!

The cute little bear given by Teoh.... ;)

BBQ at Boss's house

This was the first time after I've been working for so long in Cheng & Co that Mr Liew invited the staff in our department to have a BBQ session for mooncake festival celebration at his house on September 26. Really kinda surprise on that arrangement.
As a return for his free treat on the off peak celebration, we planned to treat him for the BBQ instead. All the food and equipment for BBQ is prepared by us. As Mr liew was inviting some other partners to this event as weill, he suggested us to buy some satay..... Erm... think he is worried that at the end of the day we are unable to grill any food for his invited guests. The invited guests are Dr Paul and his wife, Mr Chua and his wife and Steven's family. Steven is so generous to contribute RM200 for this event. His money is utilised to buy 100pcs of chicken wings and a bucket of KFC whereas Mr Chua bought us a bottle of red wine.
I'm not involved in the BBQ planning stage at all as there are lots of colleagues were helping up for it. Too many cooks, spoil the soup..... I don't want to be the one who spoil the plan... hehe.
When I reached Mr Liew's place, to my big surprise, there was lotsssssssss of food were served. For BBQ, there were fruits, 100pcs of chicken wings, fish, sweet potatoes, fishballs, sausages, ham etc. On the other hand, Mrs Liew prepared lots of food for the event fried noodles, dessert, mooncakes, apple pie, curry chicken etc. Together with the pre-ordered 500 satays, i guess this would be a big BBQ session with hundreds of guests around.
Then colleagues told me that the guests were all there already. It's only around 20 of us. Oh my God!! Mountains of food for 20 of us!!!
A rough calculation came to my mine in no time. Averagely each of us has to cover 5 pcs of chicken wings, 1 KFC, half of a fish, 25 satay etc....... That's terrible. Such a weak estimation for the event as obviously there would be lots of food wastage. I somehow feel that all of us are treated as if we are just back from Africa.
At the end of the BBQ session, the left over food are a lottttttt more than those finished by us. Everyone is forced to pack lotssssss of food to bring home.
I feel so lucky that this BBQ session was held at Mr Liew's house. Mr Liew didn't really comment much on the event. If the same scenario was taken place at Mr Chua's place, I'm sure and I'm guaranteed that Mr Chua would shout out, "Bad planning! Bad planning! Bad planning!".

Pain! Pain! Pain!

First day of Hari Raya, it was my parents 34th aniversary. So, our family went for a dinner celebration at TGI Friday. It is a nice place with great environment for Western Food. Reached home late at 10.30pm night.... and the 'pain' from my back shoulder start. This time, pain killer doesn't work at all.
I tried to check 'it' thru the mirror. The swelling part turned big and red. The pain continues.... I planned to see doctor immediately but this is Hari Raya Day. Lots of clinic not opened. My appointment with Sentosa Medical Centre is on the coming Wednesday. I have no choice but opted to go on bed immediately. Sometimes.. sleeping is even better than medicine. But this time, it doesn't work and I couldn't sleep well. I felt the pain, I felt the heat.........
Second day of Hari Raya, I went to clinic in the early morning. Mr Doctor took a look on my back and said, "Ok, come into the surgery room to WASH it"..... Wash??? May be Mr Doctor intended to cold the swelling part. Fine, I followed the nurse in charged to go into the surgery room. I laid on my stomach and waited for the Doctor.
Here come Mr Doctor with a trolley of surgery tools. Huh?? Wonder why so many tools are needed for washing purpose. The doctor gave me a towel and asked me to hold it tight. He applied something cold in liquid form on my back and after that... i felt the pain on my back. Ahhhhhh..... he cut my back without my knowledge. It's PAINNNNNNNNNN.... 入心入肺...... which means I felt the pain until I can feel my heart beats faster than usual and breathlessssss.... The few minutes passed by as if it was few hours long. After everything is done, the doctor covered the cut on my back with bandage. After the minor surgery, I laid on the bed for a while before I can lift my body up again coz I'm seriously in pain.
Mr Doctor told me that the cut is very small and that's why no stitch is required. It will recover by itself. I was advised: 1, to re-visit him after 2 days to check my recovery status. 2, not to take any poisonous food in this period of recovery. 3, Not to expose the cut on my back into water... ermm?? How am I gonna bath then???
The good news is... I noticed that the swelling part is recovering and my back is back to shape again but the bad news is I observed that the cut is still quite deep and seems no recovery at all. Hopefully it is getting better as time goes by.
Well, the surgery was there all in a sudden without any preparation. Now I know this, 'The Doctor, The Liar' and I'll always remember this.

Sick

On the first day of September morning, once I wake up to start my working day, I found that the back of my body was in pain. The first thing that came to my mind was I might hit by something on the day before. It was just a common thing for a clumsy girl like me.
During shower time, I noticed that there was a big swelling part at the back of my body near the left shoulder. I was shocked. The swelling is even larger than a 50cent coin. OMG!!! So worry... I'm worry that it would be a symptom for an internal sickness. Dare not to tell my parents about it as just don't want the elders to worry on me.
The following day, i visited a doctor nearby during the office hour. The doctor told me that this probably was an insect bite and at the same time I was given some medicine to apply. I was advised to re-visit him if i am not recovered within 2 weeks time. This doctor really relieve my worries alottttt.
But today, after 7 days..... I can only see a minor recovery and very very little improvement on the swelling part and the pain is still never-ending. So, I decided to visit to other doctor again. This is the doctor that I used to visit all the time. After due checking, Mr Doctor confirms to me tha the swelling part was actually 'epidermal cyst'. Ohhh.... what is that?? Really have to idea on it!! The doctor is so kind and patient to explain the situation to me. In layman term, we should say it as 'big pimples', i guess.....
The doctor set a time frame for me. He gave me some medicine for consumption and for apply. If after 7 days, the swelling part still not improved, he is going to arrange a minor surgically removal operation for me. He said the specialist is going make a very little cut on my swelling part and remove the inner poisonous stuff from it. Upon completion, they will stitch the cut. Seems sooooo scary!!!!!!! I feel like fainted!!
7 days..... wish I can recover fully in 7 days time...... I wish for a miracle...... *fingers cross*

Off peak Celebration 2009

This was a day to remember. I've been working in Cheng & Co for the past 6 years and this is the first time that we were having our off peak celebration dinner. Mr Liew, our Senior Executive Partner cum our HOD of audit department spend us a dinner at Sam You Restaurant of Serdang.

The table for 13 is booked a week before the celebration. After office hour, we directly headed to the restaurant. The traffic is quite smooth along the way and we managed to reach there in 15 minutes time.

I always find that Mr Liew is a friendly person especially after office hour. He is so gentleman to serve and take care of each of us during the dinner. He further added that he wished not to talk about office stuff after office hour... that's fantastic!!

The whole dinner only took about 1 hour plus. But I enjoyed it very much..... not solely because of the free treat but also serves as a chance for me to know about other colleagues within my department. I seldom talk to them before this as most of us always based at client's place. We don't have much chance and time for communication. This was the day where I get to know all my brothers and sisters in my department!!

Body Attack - G.I.Joe theme class at FF

After watching the great movie of G.I.Joe last Saturday, my sister and I went to Fitness First of IOI Mall to join the Body Attack - G.I.Joe theme class. Nothing special with this theme class except some G.I.Joe decoration in the studio.

The class was conducted in team by Barney and Eric. Body Attack is actually a high intensity aerobic class. We run and jumped like no tomorrow in the studio... Haha!! Anyway, the class is really fun and awesome. Enjoyed the class very very much. It really managed to improve my stamina a lot .

Me, Barney and Eric ... after the class!!

My workstation...

For the pass 2 days, I was working in a client's place at Subang Jaya. Most of the time, we, the audit team would be seated at conference room or sometimes in heir office itself. This time, and this is also the first time, we were seated at pantry..... seeing people walking around during our course of audit!!! It was a weird experience!!

Amanah Saham 1 Malaysia

My AS1M passbook.........

This RM10billion unit trust is opened for public subscription from yesterday onwards. 50% is allocated to Bumiputra, 30% to Chinese, 15% to Indian and 5% to other races = Satu Malaysia. Since yesterday was my working day, I was not available to join the queue. But heard my sister told me that she waited for almost an hour at the Maybank of Damansara to serve 4 people and this is the reason she gave up to wait further.

I reached CIMB of Sri Petaling at around 9.15am and can't see any crowd. I managed to subscribe the Amanah Saham 1 Malaysia and complete the whole application process within 15 minutes.... awesome!! Everything done at 9.30am. So, not necessary early bird is advantaged all the time!! Hehe!! I can confirm that the response this time is bit slower if compared with ASW2020 and ASM previously.

Afternoon time, received a call from my sister and she told me that the the Maybank at Damansara is crowded again. Everyone is still excited on the AS1M and long queue again. Huh?? Really unbelievable!! Anyway, I don't bother about that. As long as I manage to buy my share, that's good enough for me. :)

Lunch at Happy Garden

Soup of the day!!

三杯鸡..... Highly recommended *thumbs up*

Venison..... Nice but the portion too little :(

Fish chips :)

Went for a lunch a Happy Garden with clients few days back. I can see the competitive environment at that area. Lotsssss of promotion are available for lunch.

For us, we choose a stall with lunch promotion of RM6 per dishes. There are over hundreds dishes to be chosen. Three of us ordered 3 dishes and the promotion come with a soup of the day. Of coz we can't expect much on the portion for a RM6.00 dishes. Since soup of the day was served, we didn't order any drinks. The bill totalled RM22.50. Looks like it's kinda cheap and the quality is average generally..... and I'll go back for a second time visit as there is still lots of dishes to be tried.

Anti-ISA protest 之有惊无险的一天!!

Anti-ISA protesters were having a demonstration against the act. According to the newspaper, their gathering point is at Sogo Shopping Complex and will march towards the Istana Nagara morning. As usual, I'm having my work out session at Menara Maxis today.
I saw a relaxing and peaceful environment along my LRT trip to KLCC... thinking that the demonstration must be well under controlled or has been cancelled last minutes coz it was already 11.00am. Didn't heard people talk much about the issue as well along the way. Everyone in the LRT seems more excited about the PIKOM PC fair or mega sales instead. Just another nice weekend.
Joined 3 classes back to back today.... Body Combat, Body Jam and Body Balance. Finished my work out session at around 4.00pm. So as usual, I headed towards KLCC Putra LRT station. My normal routine is to stop at Masjid Jamek Station, inter-change station to Star LRT which will be heading to Sri Petaling. At the point of stepping into the KLCC station, I heard an announcement that the train is not going to stop at Masjid Jamek Station as the illegal demonstration is still on and that area is in a total mess.
Omg.... this is the only way that I know of how to get home from KLCC. I tried to asked around but seems like lots of passengers have the same problems with me. Everyone keep asking and asking whereas the officer in charge were all busy attending them. No choice..... I have to study their route map carefully and try to look for an option where I can start from KLCC LRT station and end at Sri Petaling LRT station without stopping at the inter-change station of Masjid Jamek.
Thank God..... I found 2 option. First is to stop at KL Sentral and change to KTM heading towards Tasik Selatan and from there I can take the Star LRT back home. Second is to stop at Dang Wangi and change to Monorail at Bukit Nanas which heading towards Hang Tuah and from there again I can take the Star LRT back home. I choose the second options with a simple reason that I don't wanna bypass the Masjid Jamek station. Yes... I'm scared of this kind of riot and demonstration. I saw this thing 10 years back and this is really a terrible nightmare for me.
Along my way of LRT trip..... I saw lots of people wearing black shirts... the dress code for the issue. But I think they are not related to the mentioned activity. I can hear the helicopters circling overhead. Think I'm just too sensitive.....
When I was in the Hang Tuah inter-change station, I feel some fear there coz this are is very near city centre. Just scared that when the crowds disperse, they will proceed to this area. Luckily I manage to get into the train in few minutes.
In the train, I overheard a conversation between 2 Chinese guys saying that they just back from the Anti-ISA protest. They are so proud to be part of it. Heard that the police and FRU used tear gas and water cannons fired towards the protesters. Heard that traffic at Jalan Dang Wangi and Ampang is affected. No wonder I can see polices are all around Dang Wangi area.... If I know it earlier, I won't be using the Dang Wangi as my LRT inter-change point....
Finally, manage to reach home in peace as per schedule..... *sweat*

July 30, 2009

July 30, 2009... A day to celebrate. It is not my Birthday. But this is the last day of ROC filing for December audited report for private limited company. After today, the off peak period is officially began... Yeah!! I can have my life again....
Another thing to highlight.... the incentive scheme's collection period for team member is extended to September. The memo is here just on time. This is the best news for the whole month. My team, Joey, Darren and me have ben waiting for this news since few days back. Our group performance is good but our group collecion is only 57%. To qualify for the incentive, we need to have at least 60% of collection. 57% is the best that we can achieve.
Most of the clients told us that they only manage to pay us mid or end of August.... Obviously is an empty promise again. During our period of collection, I heard lots of funny funny excuse to delay payment.... 'Boss at oversea', 'Can't find the cheque book', 'Cheque book finish already', 'cash flow tight', 'audit fee ranked the least priority for payment'.... an honest 1, 'Paid already', 'Haven't receive the invoice/statement' etc.
I'm kinda surprise with Joey's collection. Her individual collection is around 80%.... really fantastic. Darren and I are the reason for the low collection rate averagely. But I'm confident that if we're given another 2 months.... I'm sure 3 of us can do it better. We are aiming for 90% now. Wish us luck!!

Welcome me back to my Blog!!

Not in mood for blogging for almost 1 month. Reason being I'm really super busy for the whole July. Working, working and working.... this is my life. However I still keep going to work out at gym whenever I'm free especially on weekend.
I've been visiting to 5 branches of Fitness First so far. I'll be in Menara Summit on every Friday coz my elder sister is working out at Taipan at the same time. But is kinda expensive to work out there as since we are using Kesas Highway, we need to pay RM8.80 for toll for the whole 2 way return journey. My sister insists to go to Taipan on Friday as her favourite instructor is there and she don't mind to pay the toll fee. So, I just follow her. For the rest of the weekdays, I for sure will go FF at Menara Summit whenever my sister goes to Taipan.
For Saturday, I always work out at Menara Maxis. I would be heading to FF of Leisure Mall for Body Attack once a while on Saturday. My elder sister loves Jason's Body Attack class. So, whenever she wanna do Body Attack on Saturday, Leisure Mall would be our choice.
For Sunday, IOI Mall or The Curve would be our choice. IOI Mall is a nice place to work out but always feel that The Curve is bit too far from my house. Thanks to Alyster to show me the way to The Curve without paying a single cents for tolls.
This is the 5 branches that I visited before. I'm planning to go to Menara MBF this coming Saturday. One of my friend told me that this Menara MBF is just a 5 minutes walking distance from Raja Chulan Monorail Station. But I really have no idea where is this building located... Should I pay a visit to it this Saturday or should I ask further before I go there?? Still thinking lehh......
Ever since I joined Fitness First, I think I'm seriously in love in Body Jam. I'll join the class at least once a week no matter how busy I am. I just can't resist and I'm just loving it more and more!! Hehe....

Facebook Game : Barn Buddy

I'm crazily addicted to this facebook games recently. I'm not into computer games all this while but since the people around me are working hard in playing this games and everyone claimed that I'm so outdated by not knowing and playing this.
Fine, I decided to try it. Omg!!! I'm addicted.
For this game, we need to plant some vege in our farm and once completely grown, we'll proceed to harvest it. The money that we get from selling our harvests will be using to buy seeds and expand our farm.
The funniest part of all is.... we can actually visit our friend's farm and steal their fully grown vege if they didn't harvest it. We can sell those stolen vege and earn money. Besides money, we can also earn experience points and these points will enable us to level up in this games. We will earn points when we take care of our own or people's farm by removing weeds and bugs. We also earn points when we harvest our plants. But I only enjoy stealing people's harvest and at the same time, I also love my harvest being stolen.... coz this means friends are visiting my farm and they are playing with me lor..... Hehe!!

Another H1N1 fear in the Company

30/6/2009 : Mr Chua, Managing Partner of Cheng & Co. reached KLIA from Australia
01/7/2009 : Peaceful day as Mr Chua did not work on the this day... HooRay!!!
02/7/2009 :
9.30am : Spotted a tall and old guy walked into office with white shirt.... omg!! Mr Chua is back to work.
10.00am : I immediately went to client place to conduct audit at Cheras. Too bad..... we were staying in the same office block for more than 3o minutes. According to colleagues, Mr Chua only stay in his room for the day... at least, it is a good news for the 3rd floor staff and good luck to MR Chua and the staff at 2nd floor.
03/7/2009 :
9.00am : I stepped into office. Colleagues told me that Mr Chua was not feeling well since the day before.... omg!! What does it mean by 'not feeling well'. Is it because of working issue or is it because of health problem......???
9.30am : He reached office... I dare not to stare at his face. Ohh, for your information, virus won't spread thru eye sighting. Just that I don't wanna see his sick face.
10.30am : I went out to client place again. Another 1 hour stay with him... Sighhhhh
3.00pm : Chew Wei of tax department called me and told me that Mr Chua was at 3rd floor now. They were so worry. Everyone well prepared with mask but no one wearing it. Reason being everyone is scare of virus but everyone also scare of big boss!!! Pity!!!
4/7/2009 : I wish that nobody will call me to update any news on this matter to me..... coz 'no news is considered god news'. Btw, I'm not feeling well today, suffering sore throat. Sore throat solely, no others.... no fewer. Yeah... me sick is better than Mr Chua sick, for this moment.

Colleague from US...

Finally ... it's Saturday!! Such a long week...
Tuesday morning, a new colleague, Phillip joined our Company as internship trainee. As usual, the customer service staff took him around to introduce him to all of us. We gave a friendly hand shake and went thru a simple introduction session, as usual. Right after that, we are told that he was back from US on Monday.
Omg.... is a sensitive country at the moment and he just reported to work without taking the 7 days home quarantine. All of us rush into washroom to wash our hands. Pity to those who is at the third floor, especially those who in pregnant now. Mr Lam is kind and responsible enough to speak on behalf of us to the management on this issue. But the result was a disappointed one. According to our Admin Manager, which represents our Company, mentioned that there was no proof that we as the staff can request the Company to instruct Phillip to have 7 days home quarantine. Ermm... I don't really understand what's this means but I'm quite confirm that no action and instruction will be directed from management to him.
Admin Department was worried about the same issue as well and as a result they complaint verbally to one of our boss, Mr Liew. Mr Liew relied that since this is the issue, the management should have stop him to work at the very first day and if we stop him now (on his second working days) , this will hurt his feeling.... How about our worries and feeling then??
I was doing field audit at client's place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I claimed myself a lucky one as I don't have to stay in office all the while. I supposed to stay back at office on Thursday but finally decided to have a day off (Emergency Leave). Prevent is better that cure maa!!
Since Phillip is our new colleague. He always reaches office by 8.30am and I opted to step into office around 9.00am... just to avoid to share the same lift with him.... Hehe!! Heard he is late to office on Thursday. Everyone thought he is on MC.. hehe!! Luckily he still strong and healthy ... just being late to office on personal matter. Hahaha!!!
So... finally this is Saturday. The coming Monday will be his 7th day reach KL. Good news!!
But Mr Chua went to Australia yesterday and will be back on Tuesday. Another bad news !!

Miracle 09 at The Curve

The schedule of the Event :
My tax-exempted coupons :

The wristband for Body Jammers!!Joined the Miracle 09 Event which is organised by Fitness First at The Curve, Piazza last Saturday. This charity event started at 11.00am and ended at 9.00pm. There are lots of activities held on that days namely the launch of Les Milles classes, Dance Tribe, charity auction, Miracle 09 merchadise and gaming booths etc. Since it's a charity event, all the donation and cash received from selling of Miracle 09 merchandise will be donated to the charity organisation.

A very meaningful event. We bought RM90 coupon for the event. In conjuction with this event day, Fitness First was doing its Launch for the Les Milles Programmes GX class at the same day as well.

My whole family attended the event together. This also served a great chance to let my parents know what I normally did in gym. Without visualisation, it is kinda difficult to explain to them what is Gx class and how we did Body Step, Body Attack, Body Jam and Body Combat. They sometimes just can't imagine why i can stay in gym for others... and guess this would be the best time to show them.

We reached the place at around 11.00am and is just right after the opening ceremony, the show kick start with launch of Body Step Class. Shirlyn is one of the member of the launching team. I didn't really watch the Body Attack new release as we were having our lunch time at Kim Garry at the same time. I missed the Body Balance as well. Reason being it was drizzling at the same time and I opted to hide in Fitness First. After that was the show time of Body Combat and Simone is in action within the launching team as well. Cool!!! So miss her action and i always love seeing her doing punches and kicks.... so cool!!

Last but not least was the Launch of Body Jam 49. Both Shirlyn and Cheryl were in the team. But I personally prefer the later. Cheryl's movement is always graceful and great. My sisters and I joined that class. Really a big crowd of people... get kicked and kissed during the class.... The new Body Jam is quite difficult compared to the existing one. The movements are so tricky and fast. But I like it.......!!

We went off at around 7.00pm right after the end of Body Jam Class. Great show!! Great event!!

我吃‘霸王餐’的日子

Last Wednesday marked the end of my days at one of my beloved client's place this year. I've been working for one month there and I was served with breakfast, lunch and tea-break everyday for free. Such a wonderful place to work for. Although the workload was pretty heavy but the free meal managed to compensate everything.... Can you imagine, I don't have to spend even a single cents during my course of audit for the whole month... Cool!!!! But of course, I have to take hot and spicy and oily Malay food for lunch lorrr, no other choice.... Give and take lor!!!

Now I know what does it mean by 'segregation of duty' ....

I have been auditing in the same client's place for the past 1 month. Really appreciate that the client treat us well by providing a nice conference room for our working team.

From our study of its internal control system, they are actually exercising systematic processes and procedures from operation to strategic management level in term of daily routine works and reporting mechanism.

Everything seems impressive until one day.... We find that there is water leaking from the ceiling. Immediately we reported to the Accountant as she is the one that we normally dealt with during our course of audit. The accountant is kind enough to tell us that she is not familiar with maintenance work procedure but she will inform her assistant for further action. Then her assistant came to us and inform us that maintenance stuff is actually in charged by administration department and she would report to the respective department immediately.

After few minutes, an officer from administration department visited the conference room and find that the leaking problem is too serious until the floor is all wet. He promised us that he would take an immediate action on this matter. After around an hour of waiting, a cleaner step into the room with 2 buckets to fill up the water dropping from ceiling.

The cleaner told us that the problem is very serious and can't be solved by just placing some buckets there. She would proceed to report to the maintenance department. Finally someone from the maintenance department was there..... Thank God!!! But.... he just have a simple look at the situation and told us that this building is actually still under warranty but he would report to the development department for further action. Good!! Then we waited for the development department to come with their solution this time. After about few minutes, someone from development department finally paid a visit here and all he did was just to snapshot few pictures. According to him, he would contact the contractor and request them to repair it.....

That's all for the issue.... is 'segregation of duty' really good in operation?? I really doubt about that. I somehow feel that it actually worsen the effectiveness in this issue!!!

Miracle '09

Miracle '09 Event by FF is just around the corner. I'm not joining it anyway coz it will be held at The Curve and I really have no idea where is The Curve situated. I only bought this wristband to show my support to this charity event.

I'm officially a Fitness First's member

After struggling for few months, I decided to join Fitness First finally. Yeah.... I'm officially a member of Fitness First effective from yesterday. The decision was made all in a sudden as I received a call from the membership consultant, Jerrie from Menara Summit, the day before yesterday. According to him, the club just started a 20% discount for family package promotion. As my sister is an existing member of Fitness First, I am entitled for that promotion and this is where I will be charged for RM148 per month.

Upon signing up, I paid RM10 for joining fee and RM109 for administration fee. On top of that, I also paid RM149 as the Body First package. The Body First package is a money back guarantee programme where I would get back the RM149 as membership fee rebate, if I manage to fulfill the 2 conditions as stipulated in the agreement. Firstly, I need to access the club for a minimum of 7 times within 30 days from my membership commencement day. Secondly, I need to complete the 3 personal training session within 30 days from my membership commencement day.

Upon signing up as member, I am given the FF backpack (which comes with a tumbler, earphone and towel), Body First Kit (3 booklet), 3 guest passes and a 50% discount voucher for purchasing FF products.

Well, let's talk about the Body First Package. Actually I personally don't enjoy doing personal training session. I don't like cardio machine and weight training. But since I need to complete the 3 session in order to get the rebate.... no choice lor, have to close my eyes and do it for money. I'll try to imagine that I'm doing it for about RM50 per hour. Hopefully I'm gonna feel better with this mindset during the PT session.

I am just loving the Studio Group Exercise. Body Combat, Body Jam, Body Balance, Body Step... I'm back!!! Body Vive and Body Attack... please welcome me as the first timer!! Body Pump... No No No!!!

Lunch @ Societe Cafe

RM10*10pcs of Meal voucher of YTL Group of Company. As a shareholder of the group, my family are given these as yearly reward during its AGM. Yupe... still holding their shares since few years back in huge paper loss condition.... :(

Societe Cafe & Wine Bar. Situated in Lot 10 Shopping Mall. This is our choice this year and this is also the first time we were there. Tried to search online on the comments for the food but failed with zero review result..... weird!!

The environment is quite comfortable with all the 80's song being played. We can chat, eat and enjoying the songs. But personally think that is a bit funny for family lunch there.

The set up..... while waiting for the serving of the food................

My order : Hainanese Chicken rice set and fruit juice.
Nothing to shout about on the food. No offence but still feel that Non-halal restaurant serves the best chicken rice generally. The juice is good....

Dessert time : ABC special.... with a scoop of ice-cream
Ohh...... Cool!!! My favourite of the day.... Yummy yummy!!!!!!

Everyone is TRYING to enjoy the food>>>>
