If I'm given a chance, I rather not to have this lunch...

Went to have lunch at hawker centre of Lot 10 with both of my sisters. The reason of going such far away for a simple lunch at a hawker centre is solely due to we have RM80.00 worth of meal voucher which is going to be expired at the end of February.

How I got this vouchers? Actually this is a voucher for the shareholders. Yes, I am a shareholder of few of the YTL group of companies..... So sad. The capital depreciation of the share price is more than 50%. So, by now you guys should know my situation better. Yeas, I am forced to hold their shares. No chances for speculation at all. I rather to have capital gain than to have lunch at Lot 10. Anyway, we, the three sisters still enjoy the lunch very much and we even manages to pack some food for my mom and dad.

Had a simple gathering with some ex-colleagues just now and I feel good to know that they (Swee Yan, Kam, Shanel and Hern Foong) are enjoying their new working life currently. They are now all highly paid, upper level management employees. In fact, I benefited a lot from them. Well, you might don't know the reason.... But, after reading this post, you'll definitely know how I am benefited.

We went to Kimgary of Mid Valley for lunch as planned. The place was packed. We waited for around 15 minutes before to be seated. I ordered the french toast and hot milo. By the way, Kimgary's french toast is always my all time favourite. Hern Foong, thanks for your treat. Hope that you will get your special salary increment every month and I can continue to enjoy free treat from you..... Ya, will put your picture at the end of the post, as requested. Haha!

After that, we headed towards Yoyo Snack of Mid Valley to have some drinks. I was too full to have tea time. So decided to order mineral water instead. We actually gossip alot during this session. Our topics include Cheng & Co. , their Company and even Edison Chen's scandal also part of our discussion. Unexpectedly, Shanel has all the latest and updated news and info on that entertainment issue. She really knows a lot on HongKong entertainment. She is really a HK entertainment dictionary. Shanel, thanks for your treat for this session. Hope that you can stay healthy all the time...

We had our dinner at Sushi Zanmai of the Gardens. Shanel didn't join us for the dinner coz she rushed back to attend dinner elsewhere. We requested to sit next to the sushi bar. We waited a few minutes before to be seated there due to our this special request. All of us prefer to sit near the sushi bar for ease of self service typed food serving. Again, we are busy in feasting and chatting here. Swee Yan, thanks for your treat. Hope that you will continue to stay happy all the while...

We went home at around 8.00pm. Although Kam is in rush, she still insist to send me home. Kam, thanks for the lift. Next time if I am going for any seminar, sure I will inform and invite you along, promise!

My investment updates

Ahh... What a disappointed result!! I tried to summarise my investment portfolio as a whole just now. The result is an unfavourable one. I got an 20% of negative variance compared to my actual capital cost. If taking into consideration of opportunity cost, I am actually making a loss of more than 20%... OMG!! Yes, I know this is only paper loss but sometimes unrealised paper loss did provide people some useful message....

Is it a hint to me for not to involve in any type of investment anymore or is just part an parcel of the experience or route that every investor should have passby before their final success? Should I stop my intention, stop my dream to be an investor? or I should continue and stay strong and steady to overcome this bad circumstances? I need advice!!!

Filing room, my work station

This is the first time I work in the filing room. Normally my work station is at office place or conference room. But this time round, I am arranged to be seated in a filing room by the clients..... Really unexpected!!

Happy Birthday to Me!!

It was my birthday yesterday. As usual, no special celebration on it coz my family has celebrated it on my lunar birthday. Received some warm sms from a few sweet friends..... To them, " Dear friends, thanks for remembering and thanks for being here for me all these years. It's really nice to have such a friend like you guys!".

In fact, I am working out seriously in gym for the whole day yesterday. Reason being I've gain weight in this 1 week time. After 1 week of CNY holiday, everybody (yes, is 'everybody') told me again and again that I gain weight obviously ...... so sad. That's why I made up my mind to work out harder again. I wanna lose weight!! I've no choice and exercise is my only solution coz I never go on diet. I cannot stand an empty stomach. Hahaha.....

2nd Day of CNY

Erm... is really a relax day!! Nothing to do... Every year my whole family will go to visit my uncle in PJ. But this year, my uncle and aunt went to Singapore for CNY with their daughters. So we don't have much to do on today.

After the lunch, I made up my mind to go shopping to Sunway Pyramid with my sister and her friend. Really unexpected.... Big crowd there!!

First day of Chinese Lunar Year

It is my birthday again. Yes, my birthday is fallen on the first day on Chinese Lunar New Year. I agree, due to such reason, my birthday is quite easy to be remembered but I cannot deny that due to the sama reason, lots of people tend to forget about it coz they are too busy and excited to celebrate the CNY!! My so-called 'birthday celebration' is the same every year which is the cake cutting and eating session...

Both of my lovely sisters bought me a lovely Chocolate Indulgence Cake from Secret Recipe this year. Last year, they bought me marble cheese with a lot more calories. Obviously they are trying to give a hint that it's time for me to keep fit again coz I've gain few kg since last month... Ok, Ok, I will try to control my diet and work out more after CNY..... Hahaha!!

I was so busy doing my last minutes shopping for the CNY. What a surprise, lots of Chinese in Malaysia in fact really enjoy last minutes shopping, Im not alone. Hahaha... See, it's big crowd in Carrefour Supermarket. Really long queue at cashier counter!! Luckily I am still manage to finish my shopping before the reunion dinner...

I love Ang Pao

I received my first Ang Pao for this coming chinese new year. The one in yellow is from Cheng & co., my Company and the one in red is from one of the agents/clients of my company. This is the first time I received Ang Pao from client.... Feel great!!

Yes, you are right that I should be very experienced in receiving Ang Pao by now. But... even until now, everytime I received Ang Pao, although sometimes feeling abit 'pai seh' la, generally I still feel very 'syok'!! Hahaha....
