Good Bye 2007!!!

31/12/2007 , the best day to work out a summary for the year. Like or don't like, I think I need to post something here. I am not joining any countdown party or dinner tonight. So again it will be a peaceful but boring night for me.

Let see what is still unsolved for the year of 2007... Ermmm. I think my company owes me a lot. They are still owing me my December '07 salary. They are still owing me my 2007 bonus and they are still owing me a gift for performing well in my increment test 3 years back, if I am not mistaken. Hahaha.....

In the other hand, I believe I've made tonnes of promises to my dearest family and friends. Be frank, I tried my level best to honour every single of my promise and hopefully no empty promises are made so far.

Unluckily, due to ageing problem, my memory power might not be good enough to save all my promises and I keep forgetting my words all the time. If i happened to miss out any of them, come and claim it by 12.00am tonight. All those promises will be expired automatically by that moment. So, act now!! Call me now!!....... Haha

Reading, My favorite past time

Went to the Popular Bookstore on Friday and saw lots of story books there. This reminds me that reading was my favorite past time especially when I was in primary school. I spent most of my weekends reading story books. I still remember that my favorite was fiction-typed. Adventurous storyline always be my 1st choice.

But as time goes by, I read lesser and lesser. Now I really hardly remember when is my last time of completely reading a book. Ermmmm..... if I am not mistaken, perhaps it should be those personal finance-based book written by Azizi Ali. Yes, I guess so. Now, no more story books for me. My spare time is slotted in with those finance or investment-based book (In fact, I don't have much leisure time spared... Haha).

No more story book... does it mean that I am not as creative as before anymore? Investment and finance based-book ... does it mean that my life now has turn to be a materialistic one and my mind is full with money sign only?? I really don't know.....

The Li Soya Shop of Endah Parade

The Li Soya Shop, is actually a small stall located at 1st Floor of Endah Parade. Yes, I highly love the soya bean sold there. That's why almost everday after my work out session, you will definitely find me sitting there with my cup of soya bean..... Is true, I am not sure of the reason but I really feel good with this drink after my work out session. I feel refresh and energetic not because of 100 plus or excel or others but with soya bean . Hahaha....

Pork noodles @ Kuchai Lama

It is quite some times I didn't visit to this pork noodles stall at Kuchai Lama. Last Friday, during lunch hour, i went to this stall together with my colleagues. Peoples always believe that small stalls hardly produce delicious food. But I think, this statement might be wrong sometimes.

This pork noodles stalls is located at 27, Jalan 10/116B Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park, same role with the DBKL Seputeh branch. Well, the bowls of noodles served to me that day was pretty delicious and filling. We had the “small” bowl portion but it came with generous amounts of noodles with a low pricing of rm3.50 only. This stall really changes my mindset on the positive coleration between quality and pricing. Here, I definitely enjoy the food with a lower price.......

I got the T-shirt, finally

See!! This is the Group-X T-shirt of Myfitness, cool? I got 20 stamps in my GX card and managed to redeem this so-called limited edition T-shirt finally. From the record, I noticed that I'm the 6th member to redeem it. My sister has redeemed the same just now. She is the 8th member to do so. Be frank, we do not intend to wear this shirt during our workout session. We just redeem it as this T-shirt serves as a proof of our participation and a sign of our 'activeness' as well as passionate to gym life... Haha!!

Merry X'mas

This little cute bear is the christmas gift from my cousin. My christmas gift to friends?? Ohh... is a sincere and warm wishes of "Merry Christmas" to my dearest family and all my friends ...... Hope that everybody will receive what they wished as their christmas gift!!

Winter Solstice

Is winter solstice or 'Dongzhi' again. Early morning, I have been helping my family to roll the 'tang yuen'. Be frank, I love 'tang yuen' very much. But only can taste it once a year.... Guess this might also be the reason why I miss it all the time gua. I really cannot wait to wallop it le..... But after today, I have to wait for another year for it again.

Generally, the 'tang yuen' we made are pink and white in colour. Heard that pink means gold whereas white means silver. Chinese always loves gold and silver... Haha

Stardust - Movie day

Just finished watching Stardust, the movie. Yes, I know I am very outdated to have watch it now but this is the only spare time I have for movie.

Surprisingly, it is a funny and fantastic movie generally. With fairy tale typed of story. I've watched the trailers for times but it was not interesting at all. Upon finished watching the movie, I would say that this movie is an impressed one. The story line is great and action packed. It was even better than I'd hoped. People of all ages should have enjoy it very much, I think. Thumbs up!!

Restoran Ah Soon Fish Head Mee at Kuchai Lama

Today is Hari Raya Qurban but my Company doesn't declared it as a public holiday. Hence today is a meaningless working day for me as usual. Lunch hour time, I joined my colleagues to have a try at Restoran Ah Soon Fish Head at Kuchai Lama.

To my surprise, the place is packed. People are standing here and there to wait to be seated. Heard that this restaurant is recommended in the 8TV 'Ho Chak' series before. Guess that should be the reason for the crowd. My colleagues all tried the fish head noodles whereas myself ordered the sotong balls noodles. Fish head has lots of bones and I don't like it....... The dishes recommended in the TV programme by the 2 jokers is actually their big prawns fish head noodles. None of us ordered it. Hahaha

Generally the food is good and the price is also reasonable. The sotong balls noodles costs me RM6.80 but from the price list, I noticed that the big prawns fish head noodles is priced at RM13.80, looked like a bit expensive hor... Anyway, I shouldn't comment further on the pricing of this big prawns fish head noodles as I never tried it before.

Who is Bonbon Cat??

I am auditing a stationery supplier. This client told me that my name is super easy for her to remember as my name is the same with one of their product namely 'Bonbon Cat'.

Heard that this client monopolised the Bonbon Cat products once upon a time, but the production line of Bonbon Cat was stopped few years back. Reason.... I am not so sure about it. According to this client, one of the cats is named "Niko" where the pronunciation is the same as mine.

This is the first time people try to remember my name in such a way. All this while, my clients prefer to remember me as the National Squash Player, Nicol David and I love this description very much..... Now, this client, non-stop talking about Bonbon Cat and she remembers my name in such way. I really wish to find out who is Bonbon Cat?? I really have zero idea on it..... Anyone knows about Bonbon cat?

Cadbury Fun Factory... Sweet!

I came across this cute 2D-playset at Giant Hypermarket of Kinrara today. It is only for display and serves as advertisement purpose. It shows an environment in the Cadbury Fun Factory.

Look at the working environment there, I cannot feel any office or workplace politic. What I see is only co-operation and comfortable working environment.

It's Christmas again

Christmas is just around the corner. I suppose many of you are super busy in doing shopping. This year time, my cousin, also my neighbour (they are staying next door) is going to hold a Christmas party on the 23rd December. All my relatives are invited.

As a result, this few days I have been busy helping out my younger sister to prepare some simple gift to all my little cousins ranging from the age of 5 to 18. I always feel that it is hard to come out with something cool as Christmas gift for kids and youngster, within the budget, I mean...... Finally, we decided to buy some chocolate for them. Coz chocolate is always my all-time favourite confectionery!!

We bought variety types of chocolates in bulk and further segregated them evenly. These chocolates included kit-kat, smarties, Ferrero Roche etc. The kids should like it, I guess.... This shopping and wrapping process took me more than an hour altogether. But luckily the gifts looked nice, agree?

Calorie Cafe of Sri Petaling

Back from dinner with Alyster. After a long discussion, we decided to have our dinner for the second time at Calorie Cafe (as this is the only place I know that providing wifi service apart from Myfitness... Haha). We need a place with wifi. I'd happened to see Ms Wong of LTS group co-incidently before we walked to the the cafe. She seemed like in a hurry and I don't even have time to say 'hi' to her....... Lucky!!

Well, back to the story. We had dinner there few months back. I still can remember that this cafe has a special menu where it actually stated the calorie count for each of its meals. You will notice that they’re into healthy food and each dish promotes minimum usage of oil. My comment for it .... generally (appropriately) oily food tastes better. Not much customers there.

But we decided to give it another chance this time as I received an attractive and convincing flyers from Calories Cafe which advertises variety choices of tasty food. Surprisingly, I found that this cafe has now been 're-package' into HK style restaurant and the food served is really attractive. We ordered Honeydew prawn salad and pork rib rice. My comment this time is ... yummy yummy!! The price is quite reasonable as well.

We really had great chat together though we only spent around 2.5 hour for the dinner and net surfing. I'd wish we could spend longer time. Perhaps some other time, I think. But the best part is, Alyster managed to complete and submit her PER annual return within this dinner session. This online submission is pretty user friendly compared to manual submission procedure last time.

I sprained my knee again !!

I'm injured again. Yes, sprained my knee again. Yes, right side again. Yes, is in body combat class again .......

I sprained my right knee again during the body combat class on monday. Immediately think of the R.I.C.E. treatment. R.I.C.E. means Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation.

Unfortunately I follow neither. I still workout everyday without proper rest, I do not put ice as i found that there is no ice in my fridge, no compression as i feel that it restricts my movement and I tend to forget elevating it due to the uncomfortable posture.

Though, still I hope for an earlier recovery. Haha....

Had the buffet lunch at Melting Pot Cafe of Concorde Hotel yesterday.
It is a 216-seat cafe located on the lobby level which serves Asian and Continental cuisine for breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper, 24 hours daily. A perfect cafe for casual or business lunch. Really enjoy this 1 hour lunch.......

Workshop - Audit of Construction Project

Attended this seminar presented by Mr Singh which was held in Concorde Hotel yesterday.

Mr Singh might be a master in this field but the way he presented the seminar is a bit bored. Mr Singh might be a friendly person but the way he conveyed message is a bit confusing. Mr Singh might be well prepared for this seminar but I'm not get use to his special language slang. Mr Singh might be a knowledgeable person but the way he performed himself is a bit not convincing. Though I learned something yesterday but is not related to construction project but is related to financing........

T-shirt redeeming for GX in Myfitness again

The T-shirt redeeming activity is back. This time, even the Yin studio also involved. We need to attend 20 classes and get the card fully signed by instructors and stamped by front desk in order to redeem the t-shirt. My target as usual is to redeem it within 1 month time lo. That means averagely 5 classes per week. Hopefully I manage to hit my target. Hehe...... By the way, every member only allowed to redeem a maximum of 2 t-shirts.

I hate myself for breaking this record!!

I got the lowest work performance in my life last month, RM5,500. My target is actually RM14k per month. That means I don't even manage to achieve 40% out of the target. What a terrible result. I must work harder this month. I must achieve more this month. Sick is not an excuse! I want a better year end result or else I won't be entitled for the bonus pay out in the coming evaluation.. :C

Attended Leonard's power step class at 6.30pm. Only 7 members turned up. But the class still a nice one. We did something different this week by positioning the step board vertically. New things always fun. But it is quite tiring after this 1 hour work out session, sweat a lot.......

I miss Myfitness very much ....

I am back to Myfitness again after missing it for almost 1 week long. Attended body combat class as usual on Monday at 7.30pm just now. Great class and i love track 8 very much. It combines opera feel with the joyful of christmas. Thought will receive the new GX schedule today but heard that the schedule is not approved to be distributed yet. Really need it urgently to plan my schedule ahead leh.... No choice lor, have to wait lor!!

Back home in sick again!!

Sunday morning, I was not feeling well as i had an unsleepable night on saturday.In fact, I was very very sick that time. Since I was so sick, father and I decided to go back to KL in that morning. We went to my cousin's restaurant and said 'goodbye' to them then straight away headed to the bus station to buy the 10.30am tickets back to KL. Fyi, the bus services from Cameron Highlands is actually monopolied by 2 companies which is Unititi and Kurnia Bistari. So, 10.30pm sharp, I said 'goodbye' to Cameron Highlands.

The journey took around 5.5 hours (including LRT and car transport to my house). I didn't enjoy the scenery at all as I was non stop vomitting all the way during this 5.5 hours. It was really an unforgettable experience, is my toughest experience in my life.... Although I did't take any breakfast, I really cannot understand the reason why still I have lots of thing to vomit, really strange!! I will never forget this experience, I hate zig-zag, narrow and steep road. I swear, I won't go Cameron Highlands anymore in my life!!

Reached home about 4.30pm and straight away went to bed..... A deep sleep until 6.00am next morning . Then only I felt better. Yes, I am now highly agree that sleeping is a powerful and effective remedy for me, definitely.....

Unsleepable night

Saturday night, I had an unsleepable night at Cameron Highlands. Is really a night long suffering for me. I tried to count sheeps, listened to music all night long but it seemed not helping at all. I felt tired physically but i really couldn't sleep at all. I was mentally awaken all night long. Everybody was sleeping soundly except me... Help!!!

I am staying at the apartment namely Desa Anthurium locate in Tanah Rata. Although it is called 'Tanah Rata' but the land here is not 'rata' at all. Haha... It is a 3 rooms apartment which cost RM200/= per night. Astro service is included. Both bathrooms are installed with water heater ( This is a super important electrical appliances in Cameron Highlands ) which really made our life easy. Try to enjoy the view from the balcony, is really nice!!

Father and i occupied the smallest room. The room is quite comfortable and completed with 2 single beds. No air-cond is installed in the apartment as it is not a neccesity here.

Wedding Dinner on Saturday Night at Cameron Highlands

Saturday afternoon, My family made a sudden decision to travel to Cameron Highlands. The main purpose is not for sightseeing but to attend my cousin's wedding dinner. Father and I would represent my family to attend that dinner.

Immediately started packing our stuff and booked bus tickets. We then took LRT to Puduraya and took the 1.30pm bus to Cameron Highlands. The bus really super old and from the sight of surface, it even looked a lot more older than me.

The journey took around 4.5 hours. After passing the massive jam area of Bidor and Tapah, the bus started to climb up the Cameron Highlands hill. This 'climbing process' took approximately 1.5 hours.

Reached the bus station of Tanah Rata around 6.30pm and my cousin straight away picked us up and headed to the Hotel for the dinner. The dinner started 7.00pm sharp. The dishes served are considered so so if compared to Hotel at Kuala Lumpur. But generally, the service level is good. The dinner finished at around 9.00pm and we straight away went back to apartment for rest. What a tiring trip and dinner !!!
