Fresh Salmon Yee Sang

Passed by the Esquire Kitchen @ Endah Parade yesterday. They are selling the Prosperity fresh salmon Yee Sang there. So I bought half portion, take away. Reason being I haven't taste any Yee Sang this year. I cannot feel the CNY mood without Yee Sang and I love Yee Sang all this while.

The layout of the stall is quite ok and organised. But the taste is disappointed.... :( I won't buy it anymore next time. Btw, this Yee sang costs me RM33.10. Reasonable pricing....

988's New Happy Cruiser

Went to Endah Parade yesterday. Guess what? The 988's New happy Cruiser was there too. They distributed quite a number of free gifts to the participants. It was drizzling and I only managed to stay there for around 5 minutes. As you know la, CNY is just around the corner ma. I have to make sure myself as fit and healthy as possible....

The only freebie that I got ... :)

Thaipusam, not a holiday for me again

23/1/2008, Thaipusam. Although is announced officially as public holiday for KL by our beloved PM. But my Company's MP, the managing partner refused to adhere to such announcement. It is not a public holiday for my Company again as espected. Anyway, I still took a day off. Hahaha....
Now that I know and I can confirm that.... MP is more powerful than PM. PM respects religion, the Hindu in Malaysia but MP respects money and himself more. PM shows understanding to the nation but MP never cares about his staff's feeling at all.
What's the point of that announcement? *sob, sob*

'Proudly' present.....

Proudly present to you all....... A super old and outdated laptop, Fujitsu Lifebook (S Series) with Pentium III as operating system.

Its main 'special' features include....

1. Scratched surface

2. Irresponsive touch pad

3. Broken cover

4. Single USB port

5. An 'unchargeable' chargeable battery

6. Malfunctioning CD rom drive

Supposed to be kept in a museum .... but this laptop is actually used in our Company. Yes, we are still using this. Haha.... I know we are outdated, I know my Company is stingy in technology investment, I know this assets supposed to be scrapped off, I know it .... But, my Company doesn't know. They only know cost saving. Haihhhh, accounting firm ......

Virus attack

Virus attack, virus attack... I am so headache now. My computer on my desk in the office is attacked by virus. The laptop that I am using in office also attacked by virus. Now the worst part come in.... my home desktop is also attacked.
Not only virus, there is Trojan horse as well. I think the anti-virus software that I am using currently, namely AVG free edition is not powerful enough to clean up this stuff. I believe they all are attacked when I was transferring the data using my thumb drive from other workstation. I think I copied an infected files into my thumb drive and the virus spread everywhere..... Ahhhh!!!
I need something better other than re-formatting them. I need solutions. I need help. Please!!!!

Fortune Maker @ Kuchai Lama

Recently there is popular demand for steamed fish head all around and this Fortune Maker, a coffee shop in Kuchai Lama, is one of those places that have jumped on the fish head bandwagon as well.
This little shop is just situated next to my workplace and hence is one of our common lunch break station. But, I myself never try its steamed fish head before. Yes, is the same reason...... I don't like fish bone plus I am too lazy to sort them out before i taste it. Hahaha...
Well, besides steamed fish head, they sell pork noodles. Lots of people claim that the pork noodles sold there taste nice. I actually tried this for hundreds of times. Erm.... what i can say about it is...... everytime I was there, they sure give me some sort of surprise, is true!! Amazing, right?
OK, let's talk about this 'surprise' ..... Firstly, they always book in a wrong order for us and we were served for what we are not intending. Secondly, the quality of the food is highly fluctuated whereby sometimes are super yummy but sometimes are highly disappointing. Last but not least, the quantity of the noodles served is a question mark here. For the same amount we paid, sometimes we are served with a normal portion but sometimes we are served with super mini portion.
Generally.....My common advice is " if you really really really wanna try their food there, bet your luck for the day.... Haha. If your luck is good enough, you will get everything in perfect!! or else, just take care ya....."
